• Take samples of products at various stages or processing.
• Examine ingredients or finished products by sight, touch, taste and smell or weigh materials to ensure standards.
• Conduct routine tests for product specifications such as colour, alcohol content, carbonation, moisture content and packaging.
• Grade or sort raw materials or finished products.
• Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations.
• Advise supervisors of ingredient or product deficiencies.
Requirements
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• No experience needed(Will Train)
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Physically demanding (standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling).
• Able to effectively communicate in English or French.
Terms of Employment: Seasonal Full-time, average of 30 hours per week however hours varies and at times have long working hours during peak season.
