Requirements
• 5 years or more relevant working experience of fireworks.
• Familiar with fireworks suppliers and manufactories.
• Knowledgeable in importing fireworks regulation in Canada
• Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong understanding of vendor management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of fireworks manufacturing resources and production processes is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Manage the procurement process from sourcing to purchasing of fireworks materials for further processing by the establishment in Canada.
• Purchase equipment for fireworks show to meet customer’s requirements.
• Assess requirements of an establishment and develop specifications for materials and supplies to be purchased
• Invite tenders, consult with suppliers, and review quotations
• Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend contract awards
• Establish logistics of delivery schedules, monitor progress and contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems. Pay attention on freight cost changing.
• Know about importing regulations for customs clearances.
• Guide the manufacture to follow TDS to produce the product.
• Utilize ERP systems to track inventory levels and manage orders.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods by coordinating with vendors and monitoring order statuses.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
• Research potential suppliers and assess their capabilities to meet company needs.
