Founded in 2009, Point Blank Creative is a national full-service agency working to make better possible by bringing together best practices in traditional advertising, digital, and community organizing. We work with movements and causes we care about, with a particular focus on the labour movement, electoral politics, health care, and issues of economic, social, and environmental justice.

POSITION SUMMARY
As a Project Manager, you take pride in being the most organized person in the room and love bringing the pieces of the puzzle together, no matter how challenging. You will plan, budget, and execute a portfolio of campaigns and other projects of all sizes, including projects with complex scopes and deliverables. Internally, you’ll lead your project teams through executing the work, while keeping projects on schedule and on budget. You’ll also act as the day to day point of contact for clients on your projects and ensure that Point Blank consistently delivers an exceptional experience and work that exceeds their expectations.
This role is based in Toronto, Ontario.
WHAT YOU DO
Plan and manage the execution of any project, including major full service campaigns, from strategy and creative development, to production and distribution.
Design and maintain project schedules and budgets, including those with complex dependencies and deliverables; manage and update project tasks in our project management software.
Produce a full suite of campaign deliverables (including but not limited to: digital ads, videos, print media, email campaigns and landing pages), managing internal project teams, external suppliers, and production budgets
Build and maintain strong relationships with project teams and suppliers and identify opportunities to increase flow and fun in-project.
Act as the day to day point of contact for our clients on assigned projects (including delivering work, sharing recommendations from the project team, scheduling meetings and building agendas, receiving feedback, etc.). Support other project keys in maintaining high priority client relationships.
Ensure all deliverables are up to Point Blank’s standards and fully reflect the client’s goals, constraints, and feedback.
Show leadership: own a team process/focus area and/or champion positive change – support with flagging and driving improvements pertaining to the Project Management team
Requirements

You are a responsible steward of project resources; you understand how to work with other decision makers to balance scope and budget for maximum impact, while protecting profitability.
You’re perceptive and proactive when it comes to the needs of others. You’re a team player who knows how to keep people on track and is open to giving and receiving feedback.
You’re willing and able to learn and adapt to different digital tools and platforms (experience using project management software is a plus).
You’re highly motivated, you take initiative, and have an honest desire to create efficiency. You achieve excellent and impactful work by thinking critically to optimize methods and resources as priorities evolve.
MUST-HAVES
2-5 years experience working in project management, ideally in an agency or tech setting.
High attention to detail.
Experience working with Project Management software and effectively managing work planning and timelines.
Comfortable working with numbers and experience planning and managing complex budgets.
Ability to effectively balance multiple priorities.
This position requires some non-standard work hours as needed to complete the required responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL ASSETS
Professional fluency in French or other languages.

Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience and expected to be in the range of $71,204 – $90,983/year to start.
This is a term contract with a high possibility of being extended or made permanent.
