In this full-time, permanent role, you will confidentially and accurately enter and retrieve data from automated HR and bookkeeping systems, process payroll, support recruitment efforts, and provide administrative support to Park People’s finance, administration, and shared services team, in addition to supporting Park People’s board of directors.
We are looking for an organized and analytic administrator with exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for systems and processes.

As Finance and HR Admin Coordinator your role will include:
Preparing semi-monthly payroll and pension submissions, and ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date;
Administering various projects including audit preparation, provision of tax receipts, and invoice filing;
Monthly bookkeeping reconciliation and drafting financial reports;
Administering electronic personnel records and assigning trainings as required;
Providing administrative support for the recruitment and onboarding of new staff positions;
Preparing board meeting paperwork and assisting with committee support;
Stewarding Park People’s general email inbox;
Other administrative support as required.
The skills and experience you bring to the role include:
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy are essential;
Experience working with payroll, HRIS, and bookkeeping systems, with experience in Ceridian Powerpay, HRDownloads, and QuickBooks Online preferred;
Knowledge and experience working in Google Office Suite;
Office experience in general financial, HR, and other administrative tasks;
Demonstrated organizational skills.

Fluency in French is an asset; and
Experience working in a non-profit environment.
Location: Our preference is for someone located in Toronto, though we are open to candidates from across Canada and will assume a blend of remote and in-person work.
Salary Range: $43,000 – $45,000
Anticipated Start Date: January 2022
