Painter Full Time

Main Duties:
Interpret project specifications to determine required quantities and types of materials, with a focus on plaster designs and dyed cement finishes.
Prepare and clean wall surfaces by scraping, sanding, repairing cracks and holes, and using specialized methods as needed.
Mix and prepare materials, including customized plaster mixtures and dyed cement, to achieve specific textures and colors.
Apply plaster and dyed cement using appropriate tools to create decorative designs and finishes.
Measure and cut materials such as wallpaper or fabric for complementary wall treatments.
Assemble and erect scaffolding or other support structures as needed.
Advise customers on color schemes and decorative choices for wall coverings, plaster designs, and cement finishes.
Provide cost estimates to clients for plaster design projects.

Job Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in residential or commercial painting, with a focus on decorative plaster work and dyed cement applications.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills:
Expertise in creating intricate plaster designs and working with dyed cements.
Ability to interpret project specifications and client preferences for customized finishes.
Proficiency in surface preparation, including repairing and treating walls for high-quality finish applications.
Experience in working directly with clients to provide color and design recommendations.
Term: 3-year contract.
