The Microsoft Senior Expert (MSE) is passionate about the customer experience, and Microsoft products. The MSE plays a key role in sharing knowledge and teaching employees and customers about the latest Microsoft products. The role is dedicated to the Windows store within Best Buy stores, working closely with store leaders to create best-in-class customer experiences within the space.
Play a lead role in transferring knowledge of Microsoft products to other Blue Shirts, through one-to-one communication and maintenance of essential tools, reference manuals, spec sheets and product knowledge resources
•Use sales professionalism integrated with Microsoft selling techniques to understand customer needs and provide the complete solution to all their technology needs, specifically in Microsoft products/solutions
•Be passionate about the customer experience and delivering amazing service: Educate and energize the customer around the Microsoft ecosystem and software solution (Computing Solutions, Wireless and Connected Home)
•Demystify latest technology through sound communication of product features and benefits and interactive quality demonstrations of products
•Be Microsoft Certified by a Microsoft District Manager before officially representing the Microsoft brand
•Participate in ongoing training provided by Microsoft: Twice a year the MSE will engage in 2-day off-site training, as well as monthly (vendor-provided) online training commitments of 1-2 hours

2+ years of retail sales experience in consumer electronics
•6+ months of experience in computer sales is a nice to have
•High level knowledge of Microsoft products
