MATERIALS HANDLER NOC Full Time

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading & unloading delivery trucks, maintaining yard inventory, assisting contractors and customers in finding products and a variety of related yard duties. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our operations.
The right candidate would be a hard-working individual who is physically fit, enjoys teamwork, provides excellent customer service, and willingness to continually develop professional skills and knowledge base.
Must be familiar with types, grades & dimensions of lumber, able to lift 50 lbs. and ready to work in all weather conditions. This full-time position offers 35 – 40 hrs/wk. We are open 7 days/week, evenings and weekend shifts will apply.
Responsibilities:
• Keeping the yard clean and the inventory neat and orderly.
• Greeting and serving yard customers.
• Be familiar with the locations(s) of all inventory and equipment.
• Assist customers in handling large or heavy items.
• Take all necessary safety precautions when handling freight, tools, and equipment.
• Receive incoming merchandise.
• Report any shortages, damaged goods, and backorders to your supervisor.
• Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials.
