Best Western Glengarry is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hotel staff, the Housekeeping Manager will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning schedules and staff assignments.
• Train, supervise, and support housekeeping staff to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Collaborate with the maintenance department to address any issues related to room upkeep.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient use and replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Address guest concerns related to housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in housekeeping management or a related field, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
