Heat Treating Inspector Full Time

Precision Heat Treat is seeking responsible, mature individuals for permanent full time positions.
Immediate Responsibilities at Precision
• Maintain regular process check logs & promptly report discrepancies or problems.
• Ensure parts prepared for processing are staged according to established work instructions
• Select and prepare test samples from processed loads
• Test samples to ensure that the desired specifications have been reached.
• Complete hardness testing inspection and testing records
• Visually Inspect steel parts at receipt and at shipment for quality & damage.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain production quality policies and follow work instructions for this position
• Other job duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Must have the ability to report for work on time, receive/follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules/procedures and accept constructive criticism.
• Must have 1+ years experience in a heat treat production role
• Must be safety conscious.
• Must have a professional, positive attitude
• Must have good problem solving and analytical skills.
• Must have good organizing & multitasking skills.
• Must be dependable when working alone or with others.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to interact positively with others.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and stoop.
Working Conditions:
• Regularly exposed to heat, dust, noise, etc.
