Field Supervisor – Gas Fitter B Contract
KTI Utility Services is thrilled to announce a major project in the Kelowna & Lower Mainland areas and are seeking self-starting individuals to add to the supervisory team! If you consider yourself to be an independent worker, with a great attitude, that has supervisor experience, then this job is for you!
This position leads a team of technicians to reach the projects target goals. The Project Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring quality of installations, fixing problem accounts, and assisting in the field.

What would your day look like as a Supervisor with KTI?
-In the field supporting installers as needed and overseeing installations
-Manage quality and warranty issues
-Develop corrective measures to address quality issues around workmanship
-Manage a team of up to 12 technicians to assist in corrective measures
-Work with the project PM & Superintendent for any necessary duties
-Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by your manager
-Safety audits on installers
-QA audits on installations
-Training new installers in the field and classroom
Who is our ideal candidate?
-Construction/Trades/Laborer experience: 2 years +
-Supervisory experience: 2 years +
-Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
-Mechanical aptitude
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Knowledge of regulator clearances, swing joints, relight procedures, etc pertaining to gas meter installations.
Mandatory Requirements:
-Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (with a valid insurance)
-Mandatory clean criminal background check and drivers abstract
