Our services include a Primary Care Clinic, Dental Clinic, cultural programs led by Elders and Knowledge Keepers, and Indigenous Early Years programs. Our mission is to address the social determinants of health through an Indigenous lens, proactively supporting some of Canada’s most marginalized communities.
Position Overview
The Clinical Dietitian will provide comprehensive dietetic services to clients, helping develop and evaluate nutrition goals and care plans. This role requires collaboration with health care team members and participation in practice-based research to ensure high-quality care.
Job Responsibilities
Provide dietetic services through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition care plans.
Offer guidance on oral and enteral nutrition support.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care teams and engage in research projects.
Education & Experience
Current registration with the College of Dietitians of BC (may require Restricted Activities A and/or C).
Knowledge & Abilities
In-depth knowledge of dietetic theory within a client-centered model.
Familiarity with standards set by the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
Understanding of enteral nutrition and roles of other health disciplines.
Proficient in research processes, assessment, communication, and conflict resolution.
Ability to adapt to unexpected events, organize tasks, problem-solve, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Additional Requirements
Compliance with current Public Health Orders, including COVID-19 vaccination.
Criminal Record Review Check.
