As the Temporary Custodial Supervisor, reporting to the Account Director,youwill have overall responsibility for the day-to-day cleaning operations of the designated building ensuring they are clean and safe building tenants and employees. This is a 4:00PM – 12:00AM shift.
This is a temporary position to cover leave for a period of approximately 6 months, but may be extended or made permanent.
Your work will include:
Manage staff to provide a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Building
Can prioritize and respond in a timely fashion to all client requests and contract requirements
Ensure all staff are assigned duties and performing work to standards
Ensure all keys, carts, and equipment is accounted for at the end of each shift
Promote Health and Safety within the team and raise awareness amongst all the staff of appropriate Health and Safety regulations
Maintain records and submit reports concerning personnel, equipment, supplies and general non-routine activities
Assist with cleaning as required

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Minimum 5 years residing in Canada
Clear criminal reference check
Experience in a cleaning environment and supervising a team
Floor care experience considered an asset
First Aid certification considered and asset
Health and Safety experience including understanding the Supervisors responsibilities under the Occupational Heath and Safety Act
Demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality
Adapt to operational changes as required/instructed by management from time-to-time
