Dental Sterilization Technician Full Time

Dentalcorp is looking to hire a full-time permanent Dental Sterilization Technician to join our team at Kerhoulas Dental at 35 Thomas Street in Mississauga, Ontario.

Schedule:
· Mondays 12:00pm – 7:00pm
· Tuesdays 12:00pm – 8:00pm
· Wednesdays 7:30am – 5:00pm
· Thursdays 9:00am -6pm
· (2) Fridays 7:30am – 2pm
· (2) Saturdays 8:30am – 3:30pm

The wage range is from $18 to $28 per hour depending on experience. Hourly wage is determined based on the candidate’s work experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities:
· Ensure compliance with sanitation protocols
· Prepare treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient
· Detailed understanding of practice health and safety requirements
· Knowledge of dental procedures to set up operatories and kits
· Stocking sterilization lab and operatories

About You:
· Previous clinical experience working in sterilization role is considered an asset
· Completion of sterilization courses is preferred
· Experience with IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) is an asset
· Must be organized and capable of working in a busy office
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
· Secondary school education is required
· Post secondary training in Dental Administration is highly desired
