WAGES: $24.25 per hour to start
HOURS: Monday through Sunday 7a – 3p/3p – 11p
ABOUT US
Chrysalis Society is a dedicated team supporting women through the early stages of drug and alcohol addiction recovery. We are a trauma-responsive organization with a full continuum of care with one 1st -stage and two 2nd-stage homes. Our programs have no time length; women accessing our services are provided as much time and space as they need to heal from the impacts of active addiction. Chrysalis welcomes all self-identified women.
JOB SUMMARY
We are currently seeking one casual Addiction Support Worker dedicated to providing essential assistance to vulnerable adults. The role primarily involves managing daily program/household responsibilities, including but not limited to overseeing household contribution completion, meal preparation, medication management, and maintaining precise medication documentation. Our Addiction Support Workers are committed to upholding professional boundaries, working within their scope of practice, and ensuring accurate, evidence-based observations and updates within our database.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of one year without problematic substance use
• ALR Training Certificate – Implementing BC’s Supportive Recovery Standards, or willing to acquire
• Emergency First Aid – Community Care Certificate
• Naloxone Training
• Food Safe Certificate
• Criminal Records Review for Vulnerable Adults
• Class 5 Driver’s License
• Availability for all shifts
