Caregiver For Elderly Full Time
We are a loving family in Etobicoke seeking a compassionate, dedicated caregiver to assist with the care of our elderly loved one. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality care and support for seniors, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, etc.)
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Administer prescribed medication as directed
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Monitor and record changes in health, alerting family members as needed
• Provide transportation to appointments or outings (if necessary)
• Encourage physical and mental activities to promote well-being
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a caregiver less than one month is Preferred.
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks
• First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
• Hours: Flexible hours available (Full-time), including some evenings and weekends.
