We are seeking a Retail Supervisor to improve the operation of our car rental branch in Kelowna. In this position you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating the sales staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in managing the team, handling customer requests, and maintaining the efficiency of rental processes.

Job Description:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff and cashiers to ensure effective service delivery.
• Assign sales staff to specific duties and prepare weekly work schedules to optimize workflow.
• Authorize payments and oversee the return of rental vehicles.
• Resolve issues that arise, including addressing customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
• Maintain specified vehicle inventory and order new vehicles as necessary to meet demand.
• Conduct proper return processes, including inspecting vehicle with customer, soliciting customer feedback on their experience, asking refueling questions to charge correct fees, and arranging potential future rental services customers may require
• Provide customers with estimates and price quotes, as well as specifics on rental contracts, such as rental/return policies and times
• ⁠Provide customers with clear, concise directions at rental, including vehicle operations
• Hire and train new rental agents and monitor their performance to ensure quality service.
• Ensure that the branch’s visual standards and image are maintained, including cleanliness, signage, and promotional displays.
• Perform the same duties as supervised workers when needed, maintaining a hands-on approach.
• Execute key holding and managerial responsibilities as required, such as opening and closing the branch, managing escalated customer complaints, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and signing for vehicle deliveries.

Employment Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school.
• 2+ years of experience in retail, customer service, or sales, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with car rental operations and relevant regulations is an asset.
• Proficient in using computer systems and rental management software.
Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
