In addition to the professional team, we also intend to build a platform to share immigration-related news and break the information barrier for all overseas clients. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team and grow with us. This bookkeeper role is expected to maintain our financial records, accounts, journal entries, and payroll processing. It is an essential position to upholding our company’s financial health, compliance, and efficient operations.
Job Duties:
1.Record financial transactions, balance our company accounts, and utilize accounting software to implement bookkeeping practice that improves financial tracking and reduce discrepancies.
2.Post each journal entry accurately to reflect spending and revenue, reconcile bank statements to correct contradictions, and prepare detailed financial reports to assist the decision-making process.
3.Send prepared payrolls to the staff on time and process payments for the company’s operational expenses, including utilities, tax obligations, invoices, and other financial spendings.
4.Submit all required tax payments in compliance with the industry regulations to avoid penalties; complete and process all employee-related compensations such as overtime pay, medical insurance, and pension plan contributions.
5.Stay up to date with the regulatory policy changes to ensure all filings and remittances align with the latest government requirements.
6.Gather, organize, and analyze financial data to accurately file tax returns for our business; identify potential tax deductions and credits to optimize the corporate tax savings.
7.Track key financial metrics to conform statistical reports to help the management make data-driven decisions regarding budget forecast, revenue allocation, and cost reductions.
8.Provide assistance on financial planning and tax-efficient strategies through daily monitoring of cash flow, evaluating spending patterns, and utilizing credits for leverages.
9.Prepare reports for the key stakeholders and help them understand the company’s financial performance, profitability trends and implications.
Qualifications:
1.A college diploma in Accounting and Bookkeeping, or completion of courses in Accounting combined with proven experience in a related role is required.
2.Former working experience as a Bookkeeper.
3.Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting.
4.Proven ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
5.Possess good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
6.Pay attention to detail and be self-organized.
7.Able to effectively utilize common office software tools such as Quickbooks, Sage50, Microsoft Office Suite and more.
