We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be
responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including managing accounts payable and
receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. This role requires strong
analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update financial records, including invoices and receipts.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and
collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal
regulations.
• Monitor cash flow and manage payroll processing.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and other reports for management.
• Provide support for external audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
Employment Requirements:
• Diploma/Certificate in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or a combination
of some related courses in accounting/bookkeeping
• At least 1 year of proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially
Excel is preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
