We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bakery Supervisor to join our team at Amberdo. The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring high standards of product quality, customer satisfaction, and team efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily production and operations of the bakery.
· Ensure all baked goods are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards.
· Manage the scheduling and coordination of bakery staff to ensure efficient workflow.
· Order and manage inventory to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
· Train, mentor, and supervise bakery staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
· Maintain high standards of product quality and consistency.
· Conduct regular quality checks and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
· Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients.
· Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
· Address any personnel issues promptly and effectively.
· Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and sales.
· Prepare reports on bakery performance and provide insights for improvement.
· Ensure exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
Employment Requirements:
· Completion of secondary school
· 3 to 4 years of experience in commercial bakery or a cobination of experience and some college or other program for bakers with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment
