We are an Indigenous post-secondary funding non-profit organization looking to hire a part-time administration/office assistant, for either mornings (8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) OR afternoons only (1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
Duties include, but are not limited to, communication with students, via in-person, phone and email, regarding program eligibility and admission process, scanning and processing incoming mail and student files, ordering supplies, daily and weekly cleaning, and using Excel and Access to create and maintain funding application information and budgets, as well as any other general help required by the Funding Officers and Executive Director.
Certificate or Diploma in related field is required. Knowledge of Indigenous culture and Indigenous government funding considered an asset.
Also required: Exemplary verbal and written communication skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Punctuality and reliability; Willingness to work on repetitive tasks
Must currently live in Edmonton and have own vehicle (no reliable transit is available).
